After the official launch of the new Sherpa 1.6L Ti-VCT 16Valve series unveiled at Interalpin 2011 Alpina welcomes the new winter-season with some hot breaking news:
•The Sherpa 1.6L Ti-VCT 16Valve has obtained a new certification from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the North American markets ( info@trailgroom.com ).
•From Sweden, the official distributor Johan Forssen ( johan@forssen.org ) announces the achievement of the registration for the Sherpa 1.6L Ti-VCT 16Valve at the Transport Styrelsen.
•Since November 2011 the newest series of the towing-sled Transalp BUS will replace the former series. The new features include also the possibility to convert from 6 seats to 9 seats, both available with transparent roof and windscreen for the passengers (on request).
•In December 2011 Alpina will unveil the new F-250, an innovative grooming/trackmaking accessory for the Sherpa series. The new F-250 system is fully operated through electric actuators, controlled by a smart can-bus keyboard from the snowmobile cockpit. It will be available with one or two track-setters equipped with on-board electric grooming stage instead of the traditional rotor powered by gasoline engine through hydraulics. The F-250 will make the Sherpa an indispensable machine for all the XC-ski areas who keep a particular eye on environment, functionality and economy.
