Thredbo and Perisher start winding down the first week in Oct. Its a short season, late June if they are lucky , until oct 4th maybe . Lat year they only had half a meter and it rained most of the season. Snowmaking is very hard, temps are always around 0 to -5 .

Ok. sounds familiar. In the southern part of sweden almost every ski resort have to make their own snow and there is only a few weeks of "real" snow! So the new automatic snowmaking systems are really important to some resorts!!

Our season starts 10 june and goes till october 6 we are very lucky this season we are having a big snow year it has not stopped snowing for 2 weeks now with high winds so we are getting a lot of wind blown snow in the resort from the mountain range behind us.
