300DW turned into front mount winch recovery cat and fuel tanks on back for mobile fuel to lifts

WOW... that thing looks like a beast. What is the pull, 40 ton?

I have seen this front mounted winch system on older Lmc models along with older PB 270's My question is: Is the winch used to to winch another cat up a hill, or just for general work on the mountain.

work on lifts and recover cats , sometimes used as yo yo with 200 pb.
