normal problem on the leitner... the aluminium housing between the tiller and the machine is to weak, and if you are just a little unlucky, you can ruin the whole thing... have seen appr 5 of the aluminium connections breaking apart.... I think the prinoth tiller is a lot heavier than the leitner tiller, and in that case, the aluminium is stressed even more than usual. Hope Prinoth will find a solution to retrofit a more durable aluminium alloy!

Ok, I have heard about it. You are correct about the weight Ole, triplex tiller only 635 kg, power-tiller 925 kg. Think they made the connection stronger when they updatet the machine some years ago. Have you seen the same problem on machines from the last years?

i have not seen any machines which obvious is from the "prinoth tiller generation" with this kind of broken aluminium housing ... last incident in Trysilfjellet on the old Leitwolf 2003.... normally they dont break apart without any minor contact with another solid point, f.ex liftpoles, fences, lightpoles, another machine etc.... Have never seen a broken housing which is caused by only normal grooming.... It is a good thing to take the tiller off when pushing snow for more than lets say 1 hour, because the tiller is absolutely not comfortable hanging in the air when pushing snow... It tears on the frame, the hydraulic cylinders, the tiller itself etc.... just a tip :)
