Did the M16 screws break?

When this happens (particularly on Parkbully) we at my workshop replace the screws with 12.9 screws and also weld the pieces together with three beads. One on the top and one 5 o'clock and lastly one bead at 8 o'clock.
This way it is possible, without too much effort, to cut it apart again and loosen the scews if one for some reason need to dismantle the pendulum head again (replacing rubber bushing for instance).
