non c est une dameuse aztec . Cette dameuse a été créer en france. Les premiéres dameuses étaient faite sous license japonaise mais celle ci est : made in france!

Thomas, I thought the same when I saw another photo as it is identical but blue and not green. Interesting info from Vivian and obviously a French company now making them.

Would love to find out more about the synthetic winch cable. How much does it weigh and what is the strength rated at?

Still waiting for a reply from Aztec folks..sorry. As for the synthetic cable, I know it is interesting. Some long term testing has/is being tested in Iceland and has been successful as I understand. Longevity has to be less but repair/splicing time will be much simpler.
