Sochi puts its trust in Prinoth
After the 2014 Winter Olympic Games were awarded to Sochi, the Russian city on the Black Sea heavily upgraded its fleet of snow groomers in order to be fully prepared for the Olympic Games. Prinoth is right up front in this large scale project.
More than 40 Prinoth snow groomers are being used in the meantime in the Krasnaya Polyana region. There are 21 vehicles in the Rosa Khutor ski area alone and a further 10 are in service at the Gornaya Karusel, sports and tourism centre. In addition, there are more snow groomers in Laura (Gazprom) and Alpika.
More than 40 snow groomers The construction work for the development of additional ski slopes in Sochi is already fully underway. For the alpine competitions which will be carried out in Rosa Khutor, a total of 30 kilometres of ski slopes will be available for the Olympic Games.
The ski slopes will experience the crucial test for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games as soon as 2012, when the first official world cup races take place in Russia. With its famous ski slope technology, Prinoth will perfectly prepare the white Olympic ski slopes on the Black Sea and thus lay the foundation for the games.
